In "My Computer" open "Dial-Up Networking". If you have never opened it before, you should see the following dialog box. (If you have phonebook entries setup already, click the "New" button.
Enter "PShift" as the phonebook entry name. Click "Next".
On the next screen, make sure the boxes are checked as indicated below, then click "Next":
Enter a local access number for the phone number.
Click "Finish".
In the resulting dialog box,
click "More" to get the following menu.
Choose "Edit entry and modem properties..." You should see the following:
Click the "Server" tab. Make sure the boxes are checked as below:
Click the "TCP/IP Settings" button. Configure as below:
Click the "Script" tab and make sure it matches the following:
Click the "Security" tab and make sure it matches the following:
Click "OK".
Click "Dial" and enter your User ID and password and click "OK" to make the connection.
